Lateral steering damper bracket for YAMAHA R7

This racing kit allows the steering damper to be mounted in a lateral position on the Yamaha R7. The kit consists of two elements made from aluminum alloy (Anticorodal), CNC-machined from billet using 3D technology, then treated with natural anodized finish. The first element is mounted on the left side of the frame; the second element is mounted on the lower triple clamp and supports the "body" of the steering damper.

The kit includes the screws and washers required for installation.

The steering damper used must have a stroke of at least 140 mm.

PLEASE NOTE: Installation is only possible on race bikes and those with limited steering lock (RACING USE ONLY / TRACK USE ONLY)

Why lateral? Using a lateral steering damper is a real "must" on racing motorcycles, as it provides a faster, smoother, and more progressive hydraulic response. These advantages are conferred by the lateral position, which is technically more correct. For the same steering oscillation during impacts, the laterally mounted damper has a greater usable stroke to counter sudden movements than one mounted transversely.
